So you think you know African Violets? Think again. Today’s African violets are nothing like what your grandmothers grew. Shows and Sales offer the club a chance to share their excitement for this particular plant and its cousins. In addition to viewing some amazing and beautiful plants grown by club members, hard-to-find African violet varieties and other Gesneriads (the botanical name of the African violet plant family) and growing supplies will be available for purchase at the sales table. Be watching for news of any upcoming sale.
